Shoshanna Zucker, PhD is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Haniva Technology LLC.  Dr. Zucker received her PhD in Molecular Pharmacology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  She completed her postdoctoral studies at the University at Buffalo where she was a recipient of an NRSA fellowship studying gap junctions and cancer.  She further pursued her research as a Senior Scientist at Roswell Park Cancer Institute where she studied gene regulation of oxidative stress and cancer. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in the School of Pharmacy and the Director of Research at D’Youville College. Dr. Zucker is actively involved in mentoring numerous students who participate in her research on oxidative stress, gap junctions, and cancer.  In March 2017, Dr. Zucker received a Patent on a Novel Combination Therapy for Cancer Research. The therapy combines the use of nonthermal plasma and DNA damaging agents activated by hypoxic conditions.  Dr. Zucker is testing this therapy in models for melanoma, glioblastoma, and other cancer types.   Dr. Zucker has a broad publication record in the fields of oxidative stress, gap junctions, and cancer.

Animesh A. Sinha, MD, PhD is a Professor in the Department of Dermatology, University at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY. Following the completion of his M.D. degree in 1982 from the University of Alberta, Dr. Sinha received his Ph.D. degree (Medical Sciences – Immunology) in 1986 from the same institution. Subsequently, he pursued post-doctoral research at Stanford University in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. Dr. Sinha’s subspecialty training in dermatology was completed at Yale University/Yale-New Haven Hospital. Prior to his appointment in 2011 as Chair of the Department of Dermatology at SUNY Buffalo/Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Dr. Sinha held faculty appointments at the Department of Dermatology, Weill Medical College of Cornell University and at Michigan State University, where he was the Chief of the Division of Dermatology and Cutaneous Sciences. Dr. Sinha is a board-certified dermatologist whose professional goals are aimed at bridging the bench to the bedside. His research is focused on understanding the genetic and immunologic basis of complex skin disorders. He has published extensively, over 150 peer-reviewed articles, including 4 in the journal Science, and received numerous honors and awards for his academic activities. He is highly sought after as an invited speaker worldwide on a broad range of clinical and research topics.

Elad I. Levy, MD, MBA, FACS, FAHA is the Chief Medical officer for Neurological Diseases and Chairman of Neurological Surgery and Professor of Neurosurgery and Radiology at State University of New York at Buffalo. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Levy is the Director of Stroke Research, Co-Director of Kaleida Health Stroke Center and Cerebrovascular Surgery, Director of Endovascular Stroke Treatment and Research, and Director of the Toshiba Neuroendovascular Cath Lab. Prior to his professorship at the University at Buffalo, Dr. Levy completed his undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College and received his Doctor of Medicine degree with distinction from George Washington University. He completed a surgical internship and his neurosurgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh and his fellowship at the University at Buffalo. He also received his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University in 2013. Dr. Levy has participated in several clinical research studies on synthetic bone, carotid artery revascularization, and stents. He has had numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented at both national and international meetings.

Scott Friedman is a Manager of the Company and General Counsel. Mr. Friedman is the Chairman and CEO of Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman LLP, where he works on a variety of business transactions, including assisting numerous medical device, pharmaceutical, technology, and health care startup companies by diligently and strategically working to position those companies for growth and financial success. A large focus of his practice is also spent on consulting with family run businesses on how to function more harmoniously. Mr. Friedman received his undergraduate degree from Trinity College, his juris doctorate from Washington University School of Law and his Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law. Mr. Friedman has been recognized by Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Law, Best Lawyers in America and was further recognized as a New York State Super Lawyer.

Anthony Freundel, MD, FCCP is the Treasurer of the Company and an advisor. Dr. Freundel completed his medical education at New York University School of Medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship at St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City. Dr. Freundel has been a partner in the Pulmonary Group of Western New York, LLP for 20 years and is also a Critical Care Specialist and Pulmonary consultant at South Buffalo Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. He has also trained and conducted research with numerous medical residents at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo. Dr. Freundel is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Hyperbaric Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine

Timothy C. Hutcherson, Pharm D is the Pharmacological Advisor and Secretary of the Company. He is the Director of the Drug Information Center and Clinical Associate Professor at D’Youville School of Pharmacy. He received Bachelor of Science degrees in chemistry and biology at the University of Missouri – Columbia. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, where he subsequently completed a fellowship in drug information. Dr. Hutcherson sits on the Board of Directors for the New York State Council of Health System Pharmacists and the Science Review Board for pharmacy resident research for Niagara Fall Memorial Health Center. He educates and pursues scholarship pertaining to evidence-based medicine and clinical research design.

Doug DuFaux has many years of experience in robotics and medical device development. He is the owner of Alfie Technology LLC and is the co-inventor of the patent-pending novel robotic medical devices currently patent pending by Haniva LLC.
